->go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
->look for hosts file & open it with notepad
->that opens as below...

127.0.0.1 localhost
->now type the address of the site wich u wanna block(say www.aol.com) under last line as..
127.0.0.2 www.example.com
127.0.0.3 www.abcd.com (u can block any no.of sites by increasing last digit)
->save & close the file.that's it.
